During the period May 2006 to August 2007, I was Secretary of the Board of Merbein Aged Care Inc. during the construction of the $7.2m 60 bed facility known as Chaffey Aged Care by C.P.M Constructions.
Principal Grahame Blaby and his staff were excellent to deal with. At least every two weeks Grahame met with the architect and our Building Committee of which I was an appointed member, to discuss their progress report, any problems which may have been encountered or possible improvements due to unforeseen circumstances.

As I had never been involved in construction of a facility of that size the knowledge and assistance given was greatly appreciated and the quality of the end construction is excellent.

Mildura RSL 
C.P.M Building contractors completed a major internal reservation for the Mildura RSL in 2013.

The project was a $1,000,000 gaming room refurbishment which included a new bar, new cashier, new ceiling, new lighting, new floor coverings, new refrigeration and complex wall joinery.

The unique aspect to the project is that it was completed in 5 days, this was to ensure minimum downtime to gaming as all poker machines needed to be removed for the works to be completed.

C.P.M managed this very demanding project extremely well and given the on-site time restriction of 5 days the outcome was even more remarkable.

The quality of work was exceptional and communication with the Principle (The Mildura RSL) on all matters was also first class.

The Committee and Management of the Mildura RSL Inc. were so impressed by the work C.P.M did they were recently awarded another contract with the Mildura RSL which began in November 2016 and will be completed in April 2017. The project cost is $1,000,000 and includes a new boardroom and a very extensive façade makeover to 3 sides of the existing building. The current works are on time as per the schedule and C.P.M have once again been very good in all aspects of the contracted job.

Kneeler Design Architects have recently worked with CPM Building Contractors (Mildura) on an educational project in
Robinvale, Victoria. The project included the refurbishment of an existing Multi-purpose Hall at Robinvale College into the Robinvale Community Hub. With a construction cost of approximately $2 Million, the new facility provides the town of Robinvale with a static library and community meeting facility.

CPM Building Contractors liaised well with our firm whilst working on the project. Their competent understanding of quality construction and attention to detail was much appreciated by our firm and our clients. Their patient, obliging manner in dealing with the various stakeholders involved in this project is to be highly commended. A True Country Show
In 2016, the Wentworth Show Society formed a building sub-committee under the leadership of committee member, David Dawes and fundraising and plans for a new Showgrounds Pavilion began.

We consulted CPM with the plans and ideas and Graham Blaby was very helpful and constructive, working basically with novices.

Subsequently, the Wentworth Shire Council (who were project managers due to partial government funding), awarded the contract to CPM following a public open tender, and demolition of the old pavilion and construction of the new pavilion commenced in 2019.

With our committee, under the new leadership of Marcus Moore, working in conjunction with the Wentworth Shire Project Manager, we found CPM kept us informed throughout the building process, with attention to detail and all variations were handled competently.

Construction during COVID added additional difficulties and we commend CPM for their handling of this and on a job well done.
